Spartacus was a Roman slave who rebeled against the soldiers and started a war. His men consisted of thousands of escaped slaves. He was also a very strong, fit and valuable slave.
Spartacus was trained at the gladiatorial school (ludo) near Capua, belonging to Lentulus Batiatus. In 73 BC, Spartacus and some 69 followers escaped from the gladiator school of Lentulus Batiatus. Seizing the knives in the cook's shop and a wagon full of weapons, the slaves fled to the caldera of Mount Vesuvius, near modern day Naples. There they were joined by other rural slaves. MATT
sparticus was a really gud movy i liked the war scenes but it was all fake because u culd tell it was tomato sauce and not blood they culd have made it better the movie sparticus was really boring
spartacus was a slave for the romans. he had got himself and the other slaves out of the slavery but they still had to fight in war against the romans. the slaves were fighting for there servival.
